New units, nearly completed.

First up the Dutch Gard de Voet for the Alliance forces.

They are painted, based and had Dark Shade painted on, all I have to do now is apply a coat of matt varnish spray.  Unfortunately I am working overseas and I have non so I will wait until I get home.

Enjoy

Up next French, well sort of....

Bunny

The French need bolstering so here are two foot units for King Louis....

The must have Garde Suisse and ever present in French armies of the period and Regt Greaber, this is the German one as aparently there is a Swiss one of the same name.

Again they are all done by the matt varnish spray.

Next up Ducth cavalry.

Techno

Very nice indeed, Bunny. :-bd

Yep....All they need now, is that matt spray.

Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"

fred.

They look excellent. Nice big units too.

I like units this big, but it is a lot of painting to get there.

Fred, you will be surprised how quickly they paint up but I do use a very 'basic' method. But they look good on mass.

One of the appeals of 10mm is the size of the units and overall look, love it!

Ace of Spades

Great stuff, very colourfull!
The Dutch troops by the way are called 'Garde te voet' which litterally translates to 'Guard on foot' as opposed of course to the 'Garde te paard' or the 'Guards on horse' but that was to be expected I guess...

Rob

Next up is the Dutch cavalry regiment Von Tengnal.

I am drawing my regimental inspiration from two sites, The League of Augsburg and Don't Throw 1s.  Thanks for the push guys.

Sorry for the poor quality picture and of course they need to be matt varnished.

Better photos once I get them home!
