I've been waiting for this for a few years now, perhaps its time to go back fill in some of the gaps in the AWI range.

Looks shiny! For those not so keen on BP can I recommend Peter Pigs' "'Washington's Army" rules? They seem to give a nice period feel, though I must admit it's not really my period :D

Anyone living in the USA is crazy not to move to NY.

But there is only one wargames club although it is a good one: Metropolitan Wargamers in Brooklyn..

Some of us are looking at AWI using Adler 6+2mm. I did try to persuade them to use Pendraken but the others like idea of a 1:1 figure scale (because of the small unit sizes). However that will involve painting a lot of militia, as this was the majority of any American army (until it ran away).

Thanks for the 'heads up' Clib :). I'll have a look at this on Amazon/Speedy Hen later.

Yup, but this move was from Aylesbury, Bucks, UK!

Can's speak for Aylesbury; never been there. But NYC is a great place.

It really doesn't compare to Aylesbury though. I mean Aylesbury's got, err, some roundabouts?

Best shop I ever visited was Strategy and Tactics in New York
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

When confronted with the complex protocol for driving at intersections in the US (which everyone in NYC ignores anyway) you realise what a work of genius the roundabout is.

Getting back on topic: dismounted light dragoons (both ours and theirs), Lees Legion and French artillery would be nice.
