Anyone know why they left?

I know GW's revenues and profits are down significantly on last year...

I cant remember if it was the Perry chaps who did the 10mm Seven Years War range when it was still Guernsey Foundry
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

I'm sure they worked for the original Wargames Foundry, but I thought they left when that imploded.  :-\ Is the Guernsey Foundry now defunct?

I thought Guernsey Foundry  became Wargames Foundry though I might be wrong

Wargames Foundry became Guernsey Foundry, then opened another base on the mainland (Britain, not France), then closed the operation on Guernsey and relocated back to mainland Britain whilst at the same time readopting the Wargames Foundry name. That's how I recall things when Wargames Illustrated seemed to become their in-house magazine.

Come on Leon, The Perrys are unemployed. Time to send them an email asking if they would like to move to Middlesbrough and do some sculpting for you ( after they have done the 6 week training course in Pembrokeshire first of course)

AHEM !!  What do we need them for?  Pendraken have lots of highly skilled and dedicated sculptors, who are capable of producing far more than the funds will allow.

I will stop grovelling now, or I will get mistaken for FSN  :)

I'm confident I could suggest a mission worthy of their talents.

The dam' things are represented in every other scale. It's only this backwater dorsally aquatic special scale that somehow fails to cater to one of the great formative wars of the modern world.

There's a picture of some of Alan Perry's gorgeous 10mm SYW in the Black Powder rule book, page 174. And I, for one, would not discourage Alan from sculpting more 10mm.

I think the Perry's are doing OK as a goodly proportion of my 28mm Italian Wars stuff is courtesy of them, not to mention 100% of my 28mm WOR stuff.
