Just took a few shots of the show displays I've done for these, with some handy little Romans on them for an idea of size.  (I was going to put a coin next to them and then comlpetely forgot...  :-[  There's only moths in my wallet anyway!  :D)

They look good. Nice and big. Which is good as model trees are often rather small, but real trees are big.

I drilled holes through one sheet of 2mm MDF for the smaller ones, and then a bit of superglue, and they've not moved at all.  The bigger ones had holes drilled in two sheets (4mm) and the same.

They're all plastic trunks, with plastic layers of leaves which slide down over a slight barb at the tip of the tree.

Do we have an indication of price? Anything will be better than the £10 Skale Scenics charge for three. :)

Anyone tried alder cones for the mass of closely forested trees? I have found that drybrushing with various greens and browns looks pretty good after they've been glued together and based. And the cones themselves are FREE.
