Weather has improved, so...
- Last batch (80 Infantry, 9 Officers) varnished
- good progress on current batch of 24 artillery crew and 48 infantry
- 6 guns undercoated
- two towns and two villages undercoated

Not bad before lunch  :)

Sun still not cooperating enough for photos, hopefully this afternoon or tomorrow

Thinking about my army entry, have layed it out and surprised how much space it takes up  :o

;D They're still black - lots of photography and post processing yesterday and today.

I have now entered the Mounted and Army categories as well as the Foot - Pre 20th Century  :-$

I have already posted the British Legion cavalry which I entered in the Mounted category - as requested by Leon  ;)

Here is my American Army entry - only the Continentals haven't already been posted.

It was a difficult choice but I decided to enter only the Americans. Here are the British ...

Only the 33rd Foot hasn't been posted before

Don't give up I'm sure my AWI would struggle against those Raptors of yours, even without the Dark Elf riders  ;D

Thanks Kev, that means a lot coming from a past winner  :)

Still on track for their debut on 15 March, 233rd anniversary of Guilford Courthouse.

Taking a break from painting figures to paint a couple of towns and villages to give them something to fight over. Thanks to Rex (who I suspect lives about 50km away from me) and Leon for a very useful tutorial

Hi Guys,

I need your feedback, I'm painting up some buildings for my AWI forces to fight over. I have mainly followed Rex's "how to" but I wanted to include some individual variation in the roof tiles. I'm not sure if this works or just looks silly. Have a look at the pictures below and let me know your thoughts. At the moment I'm thinking of dry brushing the lightest tiles with a dark grey or black.

Thanks

Very nice!  8)

So I don't need to do anything to the individual light tiles? :-/
