How Do I get promoted

I see that each member of the forum has a rank, with some of the longer serving members being higher ranks.  Is their some  system for it?

Yep, as lentulus says, it's based on how many posts you have.  I think the first promotion occurs at 50 posts, so not too far to go!

An unconfirmed rumour has it that you get commissioned automatically for any five posts calling for a conquest of Mexico range.

Based on my posting frequency I should be promoted soon. But after that my captains bars are a ways off.

Better than the headache a pusdo clasical brass and leather helmet would induce. Leasst the Aztecs could be used for more than 1 samll unit
