With the Napoleonic British out of the way for now, it's time to switch out attention to some of the other nations.  First up is the Prussians, which we'll be doing for the 1813-1815 period for now.  There's a few months of sculpts to come for these, so this is only the start!

Marvellous sculpts!  8)

But good grief, those are tempting. I have 1806 Prussians in 18mm and love them, but these... Ohhh sir!  ;) :D

Do I want ANOTHER army in dark blue!  :(

I hate painting dark blue armies. Can't see the detail.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Ooooooh! I feel the giddiness overtaking me.

I just know I'm going to go back to my baseline Waterloo sources; "Waterloo: A near Run Thing" and Blandford "Uniforms at Waterloo". If I start reading those, I know I'll succumb.

Loveliness in metal and verdigris as always.

Very, very nice. I particularly like the Landwehr and the standard bearer with the flag over his shoulder.

Yes, now all we need us someone to do the correct flags.
Mollinary? ;)

As far as the landwehr are concerned, a white Maltese Cross on a black ground, with "Gott Mit Uns" in gothic script across the bottom. For a bit of variety reverse the colours.

Are we going to get appropriate high command packs?
Fer instance: Blucher on horseback/Blucher charging suicidally/Blucher under his horse while adc looks on in shame?

Now we're cooking.  :)

Love those Landwehr.  :)

1813 goodies. (I know you think they are for Waterloo but you are wrong  :))

Subedai

They look lovely but as I already have 28 x 30 figure battalions in 15mm I don't really need any more. Unfortunately, need and want are two entirely incompatible concepts when it comes to shinies.

I'm wrestling with the same conundrum, Subedai.

He's a Landwehr gent with pike. I specifically asked for this and Tony has done a lovely job. I really like the new Landwehr marching pose and that the firing line has a proper second rank pose like the British. Now that he's done a master, if we ask nicely he might do the same for the French and Austrians?

We've got a couple of batches worth of new Naps sculpts this month, as we complete the planned Prussian range (for now!)  This lot will be going into the moulding queue behind the Brits, and should be appearing in the first few months of 2015.

In this batch, we've got:

Guard Infantry:

Uhlans:

Landwehr cavalry:

Artillery crew:
